Our History
Functional Kids Therapy Center was founded with the belief that children thrive when their care is collaborative, individualized, and centered around the whole child. What began as a pediatric therapy practice in Battle Creek has grown into a comprehensive, multidisciplinary organization serving families throughout West Michigan.
Today, our team provides occupational, physical, and speech therapy, along with feeding and swallowing services, counseling, LENS neurofeedback, tutoring, and Irlen screening across our Battle Creek, Caledonia, and Schoolcraft locations.
As Functional Kids continues to grow, we remain committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming, family-centered environment. We strive to maintain the personalized feel of a small practice while strengthening our services, supporting our team, and upholding a high standard of care — helping each child build the skills and confidence needed to participate more fully in everyday life.
